The cover of this first edition published by Die Schmiede in Berlin was designed by George Salter (1897-1967), born Georg Salter - originally German, and from 1940 onwards US-American designer and set designer who revolutionized book cover design and is best remembered for his design for Alfred Döblin`s `Berlin Alexanderplatz`. 190x125mm. 103 pages [+1].
