This fascinating bilingual English/Hebrew book contains discussions between Rabbi Bernard Mandelbaum and Yaacov Agam on the issues of particular Jewish approach to art and its uniqueness, and the Biblical, Rabbinic, and historical sources for the special quality of Jewish art, alongside numerous color reproductions of Agam`s works. Rabbi Bernard Mandelbaum was president of the Jewish Theological Seminary from 1966 to 1971 and is renowned for his critical edition of the `Pesikta deRav Kahana`. 315x275mm. 184 pages [+12].
