Stamp on first whitepage. Second and rear whitepages slightly stained. Pages slightly yellowing. [VOL.I]: Pages XI/XII and XIII/XIV upper edge slightly torn - NO damage to text. Contents page bottom part detached from binding. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare monumental study by the first scientific practitioner of the study of scripts is in good condition.
