RARE LIMITED EDITION OF 150 COPIES printed on Arnold`s hand-made paper in Perpetua type. This is COPY No.109. Villiers David (1906-1985) was a writer and painter known for his collections of sculpture, Picasso prints, Japanese woodcuts and drawings, and paintings. The illustrator Sir Osbert Lancaster (1908-1986) was an English cartoonist, author, art critic and stage designer, best known to the public at large for his cartoons published in the Daily Express. 192x132mm. 22 pages. Decorated b&w cloth Hardcover with gilt white leather spine. Cover slightly curved and slightly yellowing. Cover corners and spine edges rubbed. Spine slightly stained and dirty. Light fingerprint-stain on edge of title-page verso, page 20 and rear whitepages.
