Contains an introduction in Hebrew and English, appendices and the Judeo-Arabic and two Hebrew texts (from two different manuscripts) of the folk-story. 235x160mm. 120 pages. Hardcover with dust-jacket. Gilt emblem on front cover and gilt lettering on spine. Jacket yellowing and stained/age-stained. Jacket edges and spine tattered and taped. Cover slightly curved. Cover upper edge slightly bumped. Spine edges rubbed. Pages slightly yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare critical edition of several Hebrew and Arabic versions of a medieval Jewish tale is in good condition.
