The author - Amnon Katz (1935-2000) was a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Weizmann Institute, where he had the position of associate professor in Physics. He immigrated to the United States in 1961 where he worked for LTV Aerospace on the A-7 and for McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co. as manager of the advanced development office, combat simulation and system integration, moving to the University of Alabama in 1991 where he served as Professor at the engineering college faculty until his untimely death. 235x155mm. XX+246 pages. Dark blue cloth Hardcover with gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Cover corners slightly bumped. Spine edges bumped. Dedication in Hebrew written in pen dated 3.4.2001 (to Sami with gratitude from Katz family). [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare book is otherwise in very good condition.
