This book is the fourth volume of his four-volume magnum opus `The War in Germany and France in the years 1813-1814` (`Der Krieg in Deutschland und Frankreich in den Jahren 1813-1814`), where he described from a military point of view the German Campaign of 1813 (first three volumes - published in 1817) and the last phases of Napoleonic Wars in 1815 (volume 4 - published in 1818) in great detail, making it possible to track the daily movements of the troops. This volume includes 48 supplements (some of them in the form of fold-out plans). 205x130mm. 434+IV+178 pages & fold-out plans. Quarter-leather marbled Hardcover with gilt spine. Cover and spine rubbed, scratched and slightly peeling. Cover corners/edges and spine edges/hinges bumped and peeling. Small stain on spine. Binding visible on inner cover.
