RARE critical edition based on the Viennese Hebrew manuscript (156) 68 of the first work in world literature composed for apothecaries only and probably written in Hebrew by 15-century Italian Jew. 215x145mm. 125+XV pages. Brown board Hardcover with grey cloth spine. Gilt lettering on front cover. Cover and spine rubbed, slightly wrinkled and slightly stained. Cover corners and edges rubbed. Rear cover bumped. Cover and spine/binding curved. Spine edges slightly bumped. Sticker residues on spine bottom edge. Ex-library copy with stamp and pen inscription on whitepages and title-pages. Library pocket glued to front inner cover. Inner cover slightly stained. Several introduction pages edge slightly tattered - NO damage to text. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare Renaissance medicine book in Hebrew is otherwise in good condition.
