SIGNED BY AUTHOR with DEDICATION dated 18.6.47. Joseph Milbauer was a well-known poet and director of the department for French publications of the Jewish Agency in Jerusalem. He was born in Poland and lived in Paris for many years, where he published seven volumes of his own poetry in French and an anthology of famous Jewish poets whose works he translated into French. For 13 years he edited the French-Jewish weekly "L`Universe".
