A collection of 32 lively reproductions of croquis drawings (pencil sketches) by French artist Bernard Naudin, depicting French soldiers in the bloody battlefields of the first World War, mainly from the front in Aisne. The book was published in October 1915. 320x260mm, 32 reproduction pages in varying sizes. Folder format - no binding. Blue board hardcovery with a string. Cover slightly worn. Cover corners bent. Spine bumped in several places and along the hinges. Few aging stains on inner cover. Whitepage partially detached, with pencil inscriptions.
