Gilt lettering and ornaments on spine. Marbled endpaper and whitepage. Cover slightly curved, dirty and rubbed/peeling. Cover edges and corners bumped and peeling. Rear cover upper corner slightly broken (but still intact). Spine edges slightly bumped and rubbed. Spine stained. Several wormholes on spine bottom edge and rear hinge. Binding visible between title and introduction pages, and pages 766-767. Pages browning and wavy. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare linguistic treatise has suffered some external damage to cover, but is still in good condition.
