RARE collection of poems from the underground Jewish ghetto in Poland, published in New York several months before the end of WW2. Contains b&w illustrations by Sigmund Joseph Menkes (1896-1986) - an eminent Polish painter and graphic artist who spent most of his life in France and America. 195x135mm. 32 pages. Illustrated Softcover. Cover yellowing, slightly age-stained and wrinkled. Last page fore edge slightly torn (10mm) - NO damage to text. Pencil marks on some page. Pages somewhat wrinkled and yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare book of Holocaust poems is otherwise in good condition.
