Hausner was the chief prosecutor assisted by Gabriel Bach of the Department of Justice in the Eichmann Trial which took place in Jerusalem in 1961. The dedicatee is Rolf Michael Kneller (1921-2005) the renonwned German-Jewish photographer, movie director and cameraman who shot the video footage of the Eichmann Trial. Gideon Hausner (1915-1990) was an Israeli jurist and politician who served as Attorney General between 1960 and 1963, and was later elected to the Knesset and served in the cabinet. Hausner is most widely known for heading the team of prosecutors at the war crimes trial of Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem in 1961, and is generally credited with exposing the Holocaust to the world in bold cross-examinations of Eichmann. Gabriel Bach (Gavriel) (b.1927) is an Israeli jurist, previously a judge of the Supreme Court of Israel who was the deputy prosecutor in the prosecution of Adolf Eichmann. Yehuda Bauer (b.1926) is an Israeli historian of the Holocaust, professor of Holocaust Studies at the Avraham Harman Institute of Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. 220x145mm. 316 pages.
