VOLUME 2 contains the fifth section on synagogue`s internal aesthetics by A.Ovadia, J.R.Branham, P.V.M.Flesher, and an extensive sixth section on Public Structures and Jewish Communities in the Golan Heights (Preface, Jews in the Golan, Map of Jewish Communities in the Golan, The Upper Golan, The Lower Golan, The District of Susita, The Golan Jewish Public Structure: Typology and Chronology) by the editor - Dan Urman (1945-2004) of Ben-Gurion University`s Departments of Jewish History and of Bible, Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Studies who directed numerous surveys and excavations in Israel, and has published books on the Golan and the Shephelah in the Roman and Byzantine periods. Volume 1 contains 21 figures.
