Gilt lettering on spine and text block edges. Red marbled endpapers. Red ink used in title-page lettering. [CONDITION]: Front cover worn and slightly stained. Rear cover very faded and stained. Cover edges and corners worn. Spine edges and hinges worn. Binding partly cracked between pages 1018-1019, but nothing is detached and the book is still quite intact and tight. Several extreme pages age-stained. Pages slightly yellowing. Otherwise, all pages are clean, and remarkably well-preserved. [SUMMARY]: An elaborately-crafted book in great condition!
