EXTREMELY RARE bilingual non-traditional Passover Haggadah with German translation opposite the Hebrew original text, printed in Palestine during the 1930s, showcasing the Zionist project. The Haggadah features handsome text decorations, as well as 9 b&w photographs of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and the Kibbutzim. The Haggadah additionally features musical notes for the Passover hymns. 180x100mm. 47 double pages (altogether 94 pages). Softcover. Cover and spine yellowing and age-stained. Cover edges and corners wrinkled. Rear cover upper corner slightly torn. Bottom corner of front cover and Hebrew title-page missing - no damage to text. Spine rubbed, wrinkled and slightly peeling. Binding coming loose and visible between front cover and Hebrew title page. Some pages slightly age-stained. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This historically unique Haggadah is otherwise in good condition.
