Dedication written in ink and dated 10.3.1927, is addressed to Amram Chazanoff (1891-1973), an agronomist who worked with Aaron Aaronson, and after studying agronomy in California served as chief agronomist of the PICA in Israel. Contains 85 b&w full-page plates and 3 fold-out maps. 330x265mm. 480 pages. Brown rebound Hardcover with black cloth spine. Rebound with original embossed cover. Cover slightly stained. Cover and cover edges rubbed. Cover corners worn. Cover corners and spine edges bumped. Spine slightly lumpy. Previous owner`s name written in ink on title page upper corner. Few pages upper or bottom corner very slightly peeled - no damage to text. Pages slightly yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare botany book, signed by its distinguished author, is in good condition.
