RARE complete transcript of the Treaty of Versailles that ended World War I (The Great War), presented in French and English on opposing pages. Includes 4 VERY LARGE fold-out maps of the contested areas of Europe: Alsace-Lorraine (Elsass-Lothringen), Danzig (Dantzig), The Saar (Le Sarre), and Schlezwig-Holstein. Comes in original golden case. 365x275mm. 208 pages for each language (giving a total of 416 pages). Original golden case, slightly dirty and scratched, slightly worn and bumped around all edges. Beige softcover with printed title on front. Cover mildly tattered around all edges, dog-eared, and somewhat dirty. Lower half of front and rear hinges broken. Small pieces missing from spine bottom and top edges. Page edges tattered to various degrees (moderate at most), many pages dog-eared. Pages browning. All maps present and in very good condition, with no visible tears or any other damage. [SUMMARY]: This copy of the transcript of the Treaty of Versailles has suffered some damage over time, but remains solid and in good reading condition, with all maps present and in very good condition.
