The first title is a monograph on Christopher Columbus and the participation of Jews in the Spanish and Portuguese discoveries, written at the request of the Spanish government on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of America by Meyer Kayserling (1829-1905) - a renowned German rabbi and historian. In this monograph, relying on sources found in Italian and Spanish archives, Keyserling clearly proved that Columbus had received financial support from contemporary Jewish Conversos. The second title is the dissertation on Black Death in Germany from 1348 to 1351 and its connection with the persecution of Jews and flagellants procession by Robert Hoeniger (1855-1929) - an eminent German historian and professor at the Berlin University. 180x130mm.
