RARE poetry book by Robert Calverl(e)y Trevelyan (1872-1951), an eminent English poet and translator. Trevelyan was close to the Bloomsbury Group who called him `Bob Trevy` and also published this book. This collection of poems was dedicated to Sir John Tresidder Sheppard, MBE (1881-1968) - an eminent classicist and the first non-Etonian to become the Provost of King`s College, Cambridge. This copy was presented by the poet to Norman Davis MBE FBA (1913-1989) - professor of English language and literature at the University of Oxford, and bears his Ex-Libris.
