RARE publication of a poem by an eminent American-born Israeli poet T.Carmi (the literary pseudonym of Carmi Charney; 1925-1994) illustrated by 8 original etchings by the poet`s second wife, a prolific Israeli graphic artist Tamsra Rikman (b.1934). The etchings are reproduced in the original size, each mounted on a separate whitepage. 280x215mm. Unpaginated. Illustrated Hardcover. Cover slightly curved and dirty. Front cover slightly wrinkled and bumped. Rear cover inner edge near spine slightly peeling. Spine edges slightly wrinkled. Previous owner`s ex-libris sticker on front endpaper. Dedication written in pen, signed by both the poet and the artist on title-page. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare publication which combines in an original way a modern Hebrew poem with contemporary Israeli graphic art is in good condition.
