The book includes six b&w plates depicting copies of old texts in an ancient Babylonian language. One plate depicts old Babylonian seals. Cover corners bumped and worn. Cover, whitepage and title page very slightly loose near top side. Spine yellowing. Spine hinges cracked and worn/partly peeling. Spine edges bumped and worn. Text block edges yellowing. Front and rear whitepages browning/age-stained. Small stamp on front whitepage upper corner. Title page somewhat rumpled near binding. Title page bottom part coming loose from binding. Binding visible between pages II-III. Pages slightly yellowing, slightly wavy and rough-cut (as published).
