RARE examination of the grammar of western Aramaic inscriptions from the ancient city of Palmyra (also knows under its Hebrew name Tadmor) located in today`s Syria. It is attributed to King Solomon who is considered to have built it in the 2nd millennium B.C. Contains a folding map. 166x251mm. XI+167 pages. Softcover. Cover slightly stained. Cover edges and cover corners worn. Spine bottom part missing, spine upper edge tattered. Spine yellowing. Most page edges rough-cut as published and lightly yellowing. Sticker on whitepage and on pre-title page. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This rare linguistic study has suffered some damage to cover, but is still in good reading condition.
