RARE book of Hebrew poems written in the mid 19th-century by the Polish-Hebrew poet Moshe Dantzig. Most of the poems within this volume are dedicated to important figures in the Jewish world of the time, including Abraham Gottlober, Shlomo Zalkind, and Jacob Rothschild. The book also contain a few short essays, mostly on moral issues. 160x105mm. 55 pages. Patterned quarter-cloth Hardcover. Cover worn and bumped at several places. Taping traces and pen inscription on cover. Cover edges bumped and worn. Front cover nearly detached. Spine mostly missing. Tape on rear endpaper. Library stamp on title page. Pencil inscription on privilege page. Some pages very slightly dog-eared. Pages yellowing, with few aging stains. Due to the external condition of this rare book, we offer it for a reduced price.
