Description
RARE single volume featuring two 19th-century Hebrew titles. The first is commentary by medieval Spanish Rabbi Assevilli on the Tractate Rosh Hashanah. The second title, Maase Choshev, details the structure and composition of the temple according to the Jewish sources, and features an extensive commentary. 240x180mm. 36+14 double pages. Black cloth Hardcover. Cover dirty. Cover corners and edges bumped and peeling. Front cover almost detached, rear cover coming loose from binding. Spine torn and mostly missing. Stamp on title pages and several other pages. Pen inscription on second title page. Pages yellowing, slightly age-stained and wavy. [SUMMARY]: Though in need of some external restoration, the inside of the book is preserved very well; accordingly this extremely rare book is still in good reading condition.
