Contains 60 b&w and 6 color reproductions of the artist`s works. 290x230mm. 138 pages. Dark-red cloth rebound Hardcover with small piece of original cover pasted on front. Cover dirty/slightly stained. Cover corners bumped. Spine edges peeling. Previous owner`s signed dedication written in ink on title-page upper edge. Tape between front whitepage and title-page and between last page (138) and rear whitepage. Rear whitepage slightly wrinkled. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare, profusely illustrated book on the art of an important German-Jewish impressionist painter noted for his paintings of nocturnal cafe scenes and rainy streets, is otherwise in good condition.
