Cover corners and edges bumped and rubbed. Spine faded, stained and rubbed. Spine edges and hinges peeling. Two sticker on front endpaper. Previous owner`s name written in pen on front whitepage upper corner. Small stamp on title-page bottom edge. Few first pages slightly wrinkled. Pages 241-244 detached from binding and worn at edges. Pages yellowing and slightly dog-eared. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare monograph on one of the traditional regions of Ancient Greece and Rome by the foremost authority in the field is otherwise in good condition.
