RARE TWO VOLUME SET published on the occasion of an exhibition of Alberto Giacometti`s drawings and prints, together with a small number of sculptures, most of them from the Herbert and Virginia Lust Collection. The exhibition took place from 8.12.2003 to 8.3.2004 in Simon and Marie Jaglom Pavilion in Tel Aviv Museum of Art. The introduction to the Drawings section, notes on many of the exhibited drawings, memoirs on his friendship with the great artist, on Giacometti`s love to Caroline (the mistress of his late years), and a chronological survey of Giacometti`s life and works, were written by his friend, the literature professor and Fulbright scholar turned investment banker, Herbert Lust, who has one of the leading collections of works by Giacometti, Robert Indiana and Hans Bellmer, and others.
