Cover rubbed and curved. Cover edges somewhat worn. Cover corners and spine edges slightly bumped and rubbed. Binding slightly visible between frontispiece and title page. Pen inscription on frontispiece verso upper edge. Small stamp on whitepages, title page, map verso, and extreme pages (pages 1 and 408) - none of the stamps touches the text! Few pages are very slightly age stained. Strip of scotch tape on fold-out map verso, else map in very good condition. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This rare fascinating travel account is in good condition.
