Gilt frame on cover and gilt lettering on spine. Cover rubbed and scratched. Several worm-marks on cover. Front cover detached and attached by three tapes to spine. Cover corners bumped. Spine damaged and partly missing. Rear cover slightly loose. Ex-libris sticker (Itiel Pann) on front whitepage upper left corner. Library stamp of "Múseu Imperial" on title page and its verso (both with pen marks) and rear whitepage. Pages yellowing and age-stained. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare travelogue has sustained some external damage to cover, but is otherwise in good reading condition.
