RARE JAHRGANG XIV ONLY - a compilation of issues of the "Jüdisches Litteratur-Blatt", a Jewish periodical founded by the German Rabbi and publicist Moritz Rahmer, includes 13 editions from the 14th volume of the periodical, from January 2nd 1885 until March 26th 1885. This periodical existed from 1872 until 1894 and appeared as a weekly annex of the important German-Jewish periodical "Israelitische Wochenschrift". 230x300mm. 52 pages. Rebound hardcover with marbled boards and cloth spine. Cover mildly stained. Cover corners and edges peeling. Cover corners bumped. Spine stained and browning. Spine edges worn. Library mark on spine and hinges. Most pages tattered. Few pages are somewhat or quite torn, however, in most cases there is no paper missing and the text is untouched. Separately added by previous owner are parts from the editions XII #1 and XVII #27. Pages and text block edges browning. [SUMMARY]: The book has sustained some damage, but is still in fair reading condition for its age.
