Brown embossed Hardcover with gilt spine. Cover slightly stained and detached. Cover corners and edges bumped and somewhat worn. Spine edges bumped and tattered. Two holes on spine. Pages bottom corner water-stained - NO damage to text. Binding loose. Previous owner`s name written in ink on front inner cover. Tape residues on first and last page edges. Pages 109-112 upper corner slightly torn - NO damage to text. Pages 195-214 coming loose from binding. Some page edges slightly worn. Pages yellowing and rough-cut (as published). [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare first edition of a Jewish educational and spiritual classic book of one of the creators of modern Jewish literature, has sustained some damage (mostly external), but is still in good reading condition.
