The 1547 Venetian edition features elaborate decoration around the chapter titles as well as a beautiful tile page. The text is mostly in Rashi script. 300x225mm. 42 double facsimile pages. Reddish-brown cloth Hardcover. Gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Rear cover bumped in several places. Cover bottom corners and spine edges bumped. Cover edges slightly worn. Front cover bottom edge slightly wrinkled. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This extremely rare facsimile edition, an important document in the history and culture of Jewish-Italian literature and typography is otherwise in very good condition.
