RARE single omnibus volume featuring three works published by the Jewish-Russian scholar and member of the Haskalah movement David Baer Nathansohn. The first, "Sefer Ha-Zichronot" (the Book of Memoirs), is a biography of Nathansohn`s uncle, Isaac Baer Levinsohn, the founder of the Haskalah movement in the Russian empire. The other two works are by Levinsohn himself: the first, "Toldot Shem" (History of Shem) deals with Hebrew and Semitic grammar; the second, "Efes Damim", is a Platonic dialogue dealing with the issue of blood libel. 205x150mm.
