The author, Avraham ben Shmuel Alkalai, was active in Thessaloniki during the 18th century, where he also published several volumes of responsa. 200x110mm. 165 double pages. Brown leather Hardcover. Cover and spine worn and stained. Cover edges and corners bumped and peeling. Tattered sticker on spine. Spine edges tattered/peeling. Pen/ink inscriptions on front endpaper and title page. Inscription and unidentified autograph on title page (allegedly of R. Solomon Yosef Farhi). Binding loose and visible on inner cover and between several pages throughout the book. Few pen notes near text on several pages. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: This rare book is otherwise in good reading condition.
