The book features two copper plates with some 50 illustrations of measurement instrument and methods. 215x150mm. 120+12 pages. Quarter-cloth Hardcover with gilt lettering on spine. Cover slightly worn and slightly stained. Spine edges rubbed. Pen inscription on spine. Pencil inscriptions on title page. Few pen notes near text on several pages. Some pages edge/upper corner water-stained - NO damage to text. Both plates detached from binding. Plate edges worn/wrinkled. Pages slightly yellowing and wavy.
