This RARE volume was published on the occasion of the centennial of the Harvard Semitic Museum (founded in 1899 "to promote sound knowledge of Semitic languages and history") by the friends of the Harvard Semitic Museum, with support of a grant from J.P.Morgan&Co.Inc., as special edition of volume 12 (1988) of The Journal of Turkish Studies (Türklük Bilgisi Arastirmalari - TUBA). Contains 166 b&w plates. 280x217mm. XI+302 pages (pages 54-207 consist entirely of photographic plates). Softcover. Cover and spine edges slightly worn and stained. Rear cover and few pages upper corner slightly creased. Else in very good condition.
