The author - Karel Dobbelaere (b.1933), is an emeritus professor of both the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and the Catholic University of Leuven, an elected member of the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Sciences and Arts, the Academia Europaea, and a former President of the International Society for the Sociology of Religion. He was a Visiting Fellow at All Souls College (Oxford, GBR), the Nanzan Institute for Religion and Culture (Nagoya, Japan), and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (Paris, France). 220x150mm. 214 pages.
