This book is a commentary on Pirke De-Rabbi Eliezer by Judah ben Nissim ibn Malka, a 13th century philosopher, kabbalist, and astrologer who lived in Spain (or Morocco). While little is known of his biography (except that his father, Nissim, was supposed to have been a great kabbalist in Fez), he is remembered as one of the few authors to have written on Kabbalistic subjects in Arabic.
