RARE critical treatise on the history of the Jewish people in antiquity, written by the eminent historian and theologian Bible scholar Johann Friedrich Gaab (1761-1832). 190x160mm. 47 pages. Cover missing. Some page corners slightly wrinkled. Glue traces on title page near inner edge. The book is inbound and divided into smaller bundles of bound pages: pages 1-8, 9-16, 17-24, 25-32, 32-40, 41-47. Last page bottom corner peeling - no damage to text. Page 31/32 creased diagonally down the middle. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]: In spite of the damage it has sustained, this 200-year old academic text is still in good reading condition.
