Description
EXTREMELY RARE publication of a doctoral dissertation by Karl Frankenstein (1905-1990), professor at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, whose principal areas of expertise were developmental sociology, juvenile delinquency, rehabilitation intelligence, problems in immigrant absorption, ways of thinking, psychology and psychopathy. His dissertation deals with the philosophy of history of an eminent German writer and philosopher Franz Joseph Molitor, (or Joseph Franz Molitor, 1779-1860), author of an influential four-volume treatise `Philosophie der Geschichte`, published between 1827 and 1855. Softcover. Cover and spine yellowing/age-stained. Cover upper corners partly missing and other corners partly chipped. Spine edges missing/peeling. Title- and contents-page fore edge slightly wrinkled. Several pages upper corner wrinkled. Pages yellowing. [SUMMARY]:This extremely rare study of a fascinating 19th-century philosopher-mystic is otherwise in good condition.Ger
